Self Improvement Binge

After a long week of feeling out of control of your own life, a good binge on the weekend is awakening. Now when I speak of binge I do not mean heavy drinking or sleeping all weekend long. I am talking about reading self-help books, listening to lectures, and exploring the many wonderful blogs on the subject.

I looked like this this weekend! Books, Notepads, Laptop, Coffee= Blissful Self Improvement Binge.

For me this weekend was one of them. It helps center me. I like to say it is kind of like going to church; it reminds me that I am a loving human being connected with the universe. It also keeps me focused on my goals and what direction I am heading.

I have been listening to Gala Darling's wonderful audio book: Love & Sequins. Download it here!
You can buy all 12 chapters together or each individually. The chapters are called:

  1. Learning To Love Yourself
  2. The Smart Girl's Guide To Business
  3. Love, Sex, The Galaxy & Everything
  4. A Guide To Manner For The Modern Minx
  5. Finding Happiness & Making It Stay
  6. Daintier, Smarter, Better Dressed
  7. Blogging 101
  8. Best Friends Forever
  9. Manifesting & Magic Making
  10. International Playgirls Unlimited
  11. It's Up To You, New York, New York
  12. What I Know For Sure!
Gala is an amazing person. One of my inspirations! Her blog is also fabulous. She speaks from the heart, and gives great advise.
I believe spending a whole day improving yourself is like a cleanse. Peeling away all the shit you build up in your mind, incorrect believes, helps bring the light to your gorgeous self!
More Awesome Books, Lectures, Blogs/Vlogs:

Get connected with yourself, get connected with the current moment, be grateful for what you have, and imagine a wonder life into existence!

I know I am just getting started in the blogging world, but if you happen to stop by leave a comment letting me know what books, lectures, blogs/vlogs have helped you better yourself. I am always looking for a good read.

at some point I would like to be the one to share the perception of metal and the whole world that comes with it. I didn't mean to be rude when the subject was first approached it simply was not the time or space for that type of conversation. we indeed need to take a trip to the woods some time on a day when you are in a more attuned to being receptive over projective. just the two of us with out other humanly interferences.
