After a long week of feeling out of control of your own life, a good binge on the weekend is awakening. Now when I speak of binge I do not mean heavy drinking or sleeping all weekend long. I am talking about reading self-help books, listening to lectures, and exploring the many wonderful blogs on the subject.
I looked like this this weekend! Books, Notepads, Laptop, Coffee= Blissful Self Improvement Binge.
For me this weekend was one of them. It helps center me. I like to say it is kind of like going to church; it reminds me that I am a loving human being connected with the universe. It also keeps me focused on my goals and what direction I am heading.
I have been listening to Gala Darling's wonderful audio book: Love & Sequins. Download it here!
You can buy all 12 chapters together or each individually. The chapters are called:
- Learning To Love Yourself
- The Smart Girl's Guide To Business
- Love, Sex, The Galaxy & Everything
- A Guide To Manner For The Modern Minx
- Finding Happiness & Making It Stay
- Daintier, Smarter, Better Dressed
- Blogging 101
- Best Friends Forever

Gala is an amazing person. One of my inspirations! Her blog is also fabulous. She speaks from the heart, and gives great advise.
I believe spending a whole day improving yourself is like a cleanse. Peeling away all the shit you build up in your mind, incorrect believes, helps bring the light to your gorgeous self!
